The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state are invited to the references cited above, in continuation of the reference 10th cited,the Government hereby accord permission vide reference 11th cited that to award 10 marks out of 20 marks for project work to the tudents for undertaking project work under Open Defecation Free (ODF) related activities.
Further, “the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh have directed to undertake certain social work and related project activities by the students from class IX Under School Education Department for active participation of students in Construction of Individual Toilets under Swachhata activities to achieve Open defecation Free (ODF) status by the State by 31.03.2018”.
And the Head Master will ensure that students will undertake motivation, Supervision and utilisation of Individual Household Latrines in that village under project work category and will award project marks to IX class students and encourage them to take up ODF related activities in the villages. The School Management Committees (SMCs) will be involved in this activity by the Head Masters without fail.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the state are instructed to give necessary instructions to the all to follow the above instructions scrupulously and in formative assessments III and IV for the year 20 17-18 each 5 marks total 10 marks will be taken in the project work in social subject and to submit compliance report to this office.without fail.
This should be treated as “Most Urgent”
