Sub:  ELECTIONS-  All India   School  Quiz for  students   in Class 9-12th -  Conduct  of National   Quiz  2017  at  District   Level  -  Further instructions  Issued.

In  continuation   of  the   references    4th   &   5th   cited   as  per  the latest  directions   of Commission   in the  letter  dated  08.11.2017 (copy enclosed) all  the  DEOs &  Collectors   in AP and  TS are  informed that the  Commission has  decided   that   no Agency   would   be hired  at  the national   level  for  preparing    the  Questionnaires   for  the  District   and State   Round  and  these  shall  be coordinated    by  the  DEOs and  CEOs respectively.  The  Questionnaire   of  39   questions,    for  the   Intra   - School    round    received    from    the    Commissron    has   already    been shared   with   the   DEOs.     The  Intra-School  round   may  be completed by  15th  November,    2017.  The  District   Round  may  be a  written   -  test or  a   stage   round,    as  the   District    may   deem   fit.     The   DEOs  are requested    to  get  the   Questionnaire   prepared    in  coordination    with  the   education-department. A logo for the NEQ 2017-18 is   being designed  and shall be shared by the ECI soon. All publicity material, event  backdrop   and  merchandise  for  the  Quiz  may  carry the  logo.

2. As per    the    latest     instructions      of   the    Commission, the Timelines for  conducting    ECI National  Quiz are as follows.

1. Intra - School Round - 1st  to  15th November
2. District   Round - 27th   Nov -  3rd December,  Results  should reach  CEO by sth December.
3.  State  Round  18th  to  24th  December   Results  should  reach ECI by 29th December.
4. Semi  Final  Round  2nd  week  of January, 2018.

3. All  the   DEOs  &  Collectors in AP and TS and Commissioner GHMC Hyderabad are requested to take immediate action for conducting the intra school round and district round of the ECI National  Quiz  as per  the  timelines  prescribed   by the  Commission    in coordination    with   Education   Department.    They  are  also  requested to coordinate for  the  local coverage  of the  event.
