All the Regional Joint Directors (RJDSEs), District Education Officers (DEOs) and District Project officers (DPOs) in the state are informed that the State Learning Achievement Survey (SLAS) has been conducted for class 4 in December and the final report is furnished to SCERT and SSA.
A dissemination workshop on SLAS is planned on 26th October 2017 at The Kay Hotel, Vijayawada from 10:00 AM till 5:30 PM to the State Assessment Cell and DCEB subject experts.
The objective of the workshop is to share the findings of SLAS with the Assessment Cell and DCEB teams and provide training on the interpretation and absorption of the key messages to be disseminated.
Assessment Cell and DCEB members will further prepare a plan and conduct district level workshops to DEOs, DyEOs, DPOs and DIET faculty. To ensure lastmile dissemination and usage of insights to improve learning levels, mandal and school level action plan will be formulated with the support of Academic Monitoring officers (AMOs) in the state.
All the District Education Officers are hereby requested to permit the DCEB subject experts in the respective districts to attend the dissemination workshop on the aforementioned date without fail (see annexure). The reporting time is 9 am at the workshop venue.
